About Us

With a lifetime in electronic media, Ian has filled many roles in the industry. After a number of years in radio, Ian progressed to television as Writer/Producer with the TEN Network and eventually Senior Creative. He later worked with Carlisle Films in London and trained in the U.S.A. followed by further Australian network roles in production, sales and presenting. Ian established Video Media Productions in 1996 and plans to be rocking on, until the end of time.

As VMP's General Manager, Natalie Howatson leads the team with clear and effective client communications, and the ethos of always exceeding our clients expectations. With experience at all levels of VMP operations, she has produced countless fantastic projects for clients, always with a fresh perspective and a commitment to delivering a comprehensive creative solution.

Jordan graduated in 2019 from QUT with a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in Film, Television & New Media Production. She has spent the past few years developing her skills alongside industry professionals, even picking up a gig with Netflix! As Production Manager, Jordan will oversee your project from start to finish ensuring you end up with a fantastic result.

Andrew Wegner has joined the VMP team as our in-house Australian Defence Force expert. As a commissioned officer in the Australian Army, Andrew has served in a variety of operational and training roles, including two deployments to Afghanistan and instructor at the Royal Military College Duntroon. He was the key liaison officer for the Land Warfare Centre's move to online training and he is motivated to help both Defence and the Defence Industry to achieve innovative online training. His expertise in the military is complimented by his role running his own property advisory business, giving him insight into both the defence and business realms. Andrew enjoys using his experience to help clients create engaging and effective educational products.

Damien’s fascination with moving images started when he got his first camera at the age of six. The humble Gameboy camera. At the age of 13 he shot and edited his first short narrative film with an old handy cam and iMac at home, which set things properly in motion. Since then, he’s graduated from a Bachelor of Film at SAE Creative Industries Brisbane where he focused on writing and directing. As a producer for VMP Damien is inspired to create meaning from beautiful images and see projects through from start to end that aim to exceed client expectations. Let’s make something amazing together!

Say hello to Erin! Having graduated from QUT with a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Marketing and a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology), Erin has joined VMP as an Administration and Business Support superstar. She has a passion for all things marketing and organising to ensure projects get off to a flying start. Her friendly and bubbly personality make her very approachable and she is always willing to help you with all enquiries. You’ll see Erin manning the front desk when you come to visit, so make sure to say hi!

As VMP’s production assistant, Jonathon supports the team across all stages of production, ensuring each job runs smoothly, as well as managing clients of his own. Having graduated from University of Southern Queensland with a Bachelor of Film and Television Production, and a keen interest in film and television, he is organised, adaptable and enthusiastic about helping our clients achieve a great result.

Since graduating from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Film and Screen Media Production, and numerous credits under his belt, Liam has been a key member of the VMP family. He is a highly skilled sound recordist and designer with a gift for video editing and motion graphics too. With the growth of interactive content and the expansion of the VMP eLearning division, Liam has proven his versatility and delivered on numerous projects. Enthusiastic, motivated and always looking for the most creative solution, Liam is a total professional.

After graduating her Bachelor of Film and Television Production from Griffith University in 2015, Katy has worked on numerous video projects varying from music videos to corporate advertisements. Joining us in 2018, her skills in video production are a integral part to our day-to-day operations. Her expertise across the entire Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline allow her to be a master across all productions here at VMP and VMP eLearning.

After graduating Billy Blue College of Design in 2020, Logan has been working in the creative industries across a variety of fields. With a special interest in photography (and specifically, fashion photography), they have gone from strength to strength in their career. Now at VMP, Logan works across a variety of projects including graphic design, web design, animation and photography. As our resident fashionista, Logan is an absolute delight to have in the office and is committed to exceeding their client’s expectations in every way.

Cindy is our incredible animator ready to bring your vision to life. She joined the team in 2021 after Graduating from Griffith Film School with a Bachelor's degree in Animation. Cindy has a strong passion for 2D animation having worked on various projects in the past and is always excited kick things in motion with graphics and titles.

Kevin has been animating for over 5 years and has a passion for digital art! He graduated from Griffith Film School with a Bachelor's Degree in Animation and has since been working freelancer until now joining the VMP Team. Kevin is a wiz with the Adobe suite and loves a creative challenge while adding his own unique spin. You can rely on Kevin for an innovative solution to all animation needs!

Guy Crofts is VMP’s resident Cinematographer. Having graduated from Griffith Film School and with experience across a wide variety of productions such as TV Commercials, Corporate Video, Short Film and Longform Films, Guy is perfectly placed with both his can-do attitude and technical knowledge. If there’s one thing Guy is good at, it’s making our clients look (even more) amazing! You’ll love having him on set as he’s always up for a laugh and makes everyone feel at ease. We’re lucky to have him as a part of the VMP team!
