23 Nov VMP Newsletter 2023
The temperature is rising across Brisbane, which means Summer is approaching. Even though we are exiting the winter months, the team at VMP have not been hibernating, as our video and animation production moves full steam ahead. Before it gets too hot, let’s recap the year at VMP!
VISUAL DOMAIN X VMP
Today, we’re working with Visual Domain to create content with NBA Superstars, Mental Health Ambassadors, Community Icons and Future Leaders. I wonder what tomorrow will bring!
When Visual Domain approached us to assist with on set directing/producing and videography, we didn’t know that it would lead to such a strong working partnership. From working on exciting campaigns for Liquorland, Officeworks, Kmart, HCF, Bupa Medical and the RUOK foundation, to being able to do an interview with NBA Superstar Patty Mills for Body and Soul Magazine. Unique projects just keep ending up on our desk. We look forward to our continuing collaboration with Visual Domain. At VMP, we pride ourselves on our ability to create videos that reflect our clients’ values in a way that is both informative and engaging, so if you’re considering video content, we’ve got you covered!
QUEENSLAND DEPARTMENT OF STATE DEVELOPMENT, INFRASTRUCTURE, LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND PLANNING – LG LEADERS
Filming 15 videos across 6 locations within 5 days. But we were up for it!
VMP was founded to make engaging content that communicates effectively and to have fun doing it. Over the last few months, we embarked on one of our most challenging video productions to date. To assist one of our long-term clients, the Queensland Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning, in creating an original training module consisting primarily of high quality, dramatic, video scenario packages. Our production and eLearning teams worked cohesively to ensure the planning of 15 videos demonstrating the roles and responsibilities of local council members, highlighting the experiences of both regional and metropolitan representatives and a local mayor.
QUEENSLAND DEPARTMENT OF PREMIER AND CABINET // PATH TO TREATY LUNCH
We were honoured to capture a significant event broadcasting the shared journey between the Queensland Government, Aboriginal and Torress Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people.
Earlier this year, The Queensland Department of Premier and Cabinet approached us to capture a significant event in Queensland’s history, the Path to Treaty event. We jumped into production resulting in the creation of three long-form videos (15mins, 50mins and 5mins respectively) that captured the Keynote Address by the Premier, a Panel Discussion with three members and the closing address of the event.
Looking for a studio to film your own interview, music video, TVC or maybe a short film? Well time for Lights! Camera! Action!
Our VMP Studio has had plenty of use this year, thanks to companies like Flywire Films, the University of Melbourne, Wild Bear Entertainment, VMLY&R and many more utilising the space. Our studio consists of multiple-coloured backdrops (specifically green, blue, white, and black) and a built-in lighting rig. If you require some assistance, we have a variety of crew members available, as well as extra filming equipment to make sure your vision for your project is made a reality.
