See you later Summer! VMP had a ripper Christmas season, and have launched into the new year at full speed (how is it 2022 already?)
Over the Christmas period, the team took some time off to rest, enjoy the sunshine and fill our tummies with Christmas ham and pudding. Since returning, it has been all hands-on deck, so as the temperatures drop and the leaves begin to fall, let’s recap the summer season at VMP.
LearnX Awards // VMP eLearning
Our partner company VMP eLearning finished 2021 on a high, having been awarded two LearnX awards for their collaboration with the Australian Army’s LWC (Land Warfare Centre). They received a Gold Award for Best Talent Partnership category which celebrated the collaborative relationship VMP eLearning and the Australian Army have created over the last year and a half through the development of high-quality eLearning products. VMP eLearning and LWC were also awarded the Platinum Award in the Best Leadership Capability Project for the Combat Military Appreciation Process (CMAP) eLearning course. We’re incredibly proud of all the work our team has done to deserve these awards. Congratulations VMP eLearning!
Gallagher Benefit Services // Infographic Video
We worked with Gallagher Benefit Services, a global insurance and consultancy company, to bring their animated infographic dreams to life. Our animators had fun creating onboarding content which showcased the benefits of company superannuation. Animation is a great feature to use, especially for explainer and onboarding videos, as its both engaging and easy to follow. Metal-Tech Industries // Onboarding & Promotional Videos
Metal-Tech Industries approached VMP to create an overview video and a series of induction videos to complement their new website. Our crew captured footage of laser cutting, welding, powder coating and machinery being used at their metal fabrication factory. We also captured some impressive drone videography. We are excited to see the final cuts once our post-production team have completed the sound design and incorporated graphics and logos. Many thanks to Nathan and the Metal-Tech team for choosing VMP to produce the educational videos.
Medical Protection Society // Situation Training Videos
The Medical Protection Society is a global not-for-profit organisation which aims to educate healthcare workers on how to communicate effectively and appropriately with their patients. The Australian branch for the Medical Protection Society asked VMP to film a series of situation-based training videos. We had an extensive casting period prior to filming the videos over 2 days in Brisbane. Our crew had a great time out on set, using a number of different lighting and cinematography styles to create a series of videos that the client can enjoy and get longevity out of. It was a pleasure working with Medical Protection Society to help them support our healthcare heroes.
VMP Christmas Party 2021
The VMP Christmas party was highly anticipated by our team after the massive year we had. Before we closed the office for Christmas and a well-deserved break, the team travelled out to Mt Tamborine for a day of delicious food and wine. We were treated to wine tastings at Witches Falls Winery and Mason Wines (which we highly recommend!) and celebrated all the work we had achieved throughout the year. The day was filled with many laughs, a round of putt-putt and the company of one of the best teams in Brisbane!
It was a fitting way to round off 2021 and gave us a good excuse to see more of beautiful Queensland!
New Staff Profile
With a new year, comes new beginnings. In January, we welcomed Erin Balaam to the VMP team. Having graduated from QUT with a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Marketing and a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology), Erin has joined VMP as an Administration and Business Support superstar. She has a passion for all things marketing and organising to ensure projects get off to a flying start. Her friendly and bubbly personality make her very approachable, and she is always willing to help you with all your VMP enquiries!
