The Autumn leaves have fallen and the winter chill has set in … by Queensland standard it is freezing! Autumn is always a season of transition with the change in weather and at VMP it is has been a very busy season of projects and a bunch of new additions to the team. So, let’s look back at the past three months.
DEPARTMENT OF THE PREMIER AND CABINET // AUSTRALIAN OF THE YEAR AWARDS // SOCIAL MEDIA VIDEOS
On Australia Day every year we, as a nation, take the opportunity to acknowledge some of the amazing work and impact some very special Australians have on this county. VMP worked with the Queensland Department of the Premier and Cabinet to create a showcase of the amazing stories from the 2021 Queensland Australian of the Year recipients. It is a great campaign to encourage people to nominate inspirational individuals in their communities for this special honour. Thanks to Events and Engagement, Department of the Premier and Cabinet, for allowing VMP to capture these inspiring people.

FOCUSED MARKETING // CS GAS // CORPORATE VIDEO
VMP were approached by Focused Marketing to collaborate on a site tour/corporate video for CS GAS. Based in Brisbane, CS GAS are engineers, designers and manufacturers of solutions for the resources and industrial sectors across Australia. Our team captured footage of the CS GAS crew hard at work in the manufacturing and electrical instrumentation process, including some epic drone videography and action-packed welding.

ADF // VMP e-Learning // Training Video
VMP headed out to Kokoda Barracks at Canungra for three days big days of filming with the ADF for our partner company VMP eLearning. The team stayed at Canungra and captured footage for no less than seven different videos for the Captain’s training course including ROC (Rehearsal of Concept) drills and combined arms actions plus CS BOS material. It was an exciting experience to help capture training initiatives that have been fine-tuned to prepare an effective fighting force. VMP salutes the ADF!

June 6th marks Queensland Day, a day which allows us to celebrate all things Queensland. From our beautiful natural wonders to our impassioned communities and most importantly the truly amazing people that make up this great state. As a proud Queensland business, VMP was honoured to work with the Department of the Premier and Cabinet to showcase stories from all around Queensland for this day of celebration. The videos feature interviews with some phenomenal Queenslanders – including Olympian Nat Cook, Katie Noonan, Bruce & Denise Morcombe and the Queensland Firebirds to name a few – all sharing their Queensland Stories. The long and short form videos were distributed across a multi-platform social media and advertising campaign ahead of June 6 and it was truly wonderful to be a part of sharing such fantastic stories.

NATUREWORKS // PROMOTIONAL AND SOCIAL MEDIA VIDEOS
NatureWorks is a phenomenal Brisbane company that create extraordinary animal and nature-based sculptures and art. Their work can be seen around Queensland, Australia and the world. Even Luna Park’s iconic entrance down in Sydney. VMP was thrilled to be asked by NatureWorks to create a some video highlighting their process and amazing reality when creating these impressive sculptures. Getting to work with NatureWorks was a real insight into the creation of beautiful art in our everyday lives.
It’s been an amazing whirlwind of projects through autumn! Time to rug up for the winter months, but there’s no time to hibernate as plenty of exciting new projects are on the way!
