VMP eLearning // Brand & Website Launch

Polar Australia // Rugby League World Cup Promotional Videos // Video Production

With the Rugby League World Cup descending on Brisbane in late 2017, Polar Electro asked VMP to produce a promotional video for their wearable technology (think GPS and tracking equipment). We were lucky enough to attend a training session with the entire team of referees for the World Cup, utilising Polar technology in a professional sporting environment. Our dedicated team of camera operators and editors produced the final videos using a mixture of motion tracked graphics, drone and Ronin footage, making for a high-intensity finished product. Polar will be publishing the video on their social media and website soon, so keep an eye out for it!

Hand Heart Pocket // Strategy Video // Whiteboard Animation

The brainchild of the Freemasons of Queensland, Hand Heart Pocket (HHP) is a charity aiming to improve the lives of people across the state. Approached by Cole Lawson Communications on behalf of the charity, VMP joined forces with talented graphic artist Mick Stewart to create an engaging end product – a whiteboard-style animated video outlining HHP’s strategy and where their money is being put to very good use. VMP’s production team developed and animated the video’s entire series of drawings to match the tone and branding of HHP, as well as relay their vision for the future of the charity. The video was presented at the Freemason’s Queensland Conference at the end of 2017, where it was very well received with positive reviews from the audience.

TEREX Cranes // TEREX Cranes President Filming & Staff Address // Video Production

Long-time clients of VMP, TEREX contacted us to discuss creating a staff address from their President of TEREX Cranes, Steve Filipov, who was visiting Australia in October last year. Our dedicated crew captured footage of the exceptional TEREX facility in Eagle Farm, as well as Mr Filipov’s segment which included a company review, the implementation of new staff members, and an overall congratulation on achieving a safe workplace in 2017. All delivered off the cuff and with considerable panache! The final product will be distributed to TEREX facilities around the world as another example of this capable companies growth and success.

IFAA // Get Financially Fit Social Media Campaign // Video Production & Photography

In September 2017, VMP was approached by IFAA to create a funny social media campaign for their new brand, Club Super. Using a concept developed by IFAA, VMP created a suite of social media short videos that followed the shenanigans and near-public indecency of a hapless athlete trying to get his clients ‘financially fit’. The shoot was a hoot, and our actor Brad McDonald brought a great sense of humour and a Magic Bullet-full of talent to the production. The final product was launched in January 2018 via the Club Super Facebook page, as well as on IFAA’s new website.

The Salvation Army // Drive for Life // “Live Sketch” Animation

Rarely lost for words, the VMP team was awestruck after being approached by the Salvation Army to create a ‘live sketch’ animation for their fantastic Drive for Life program. The program, which helps underprivileged kids understand road safety and ultimately achieve their provisional license while spending time with caring adults, spurred our sketch artist, Sam McKenzie, to create a concept that was visually engaging in relaying an important message. After shooting over 6000 photos in the studio, we pieced together the live sketch and created a production which incorporates animation, graphics and sound design. The end-product will be used to engage potential corporate sponsors, and will also be available on The Salvation Army’s website to raise awareness for potential program users.

VMP // Christmas Party 2017 // Cruising Moreton Bay!

To err is human. To arr is pirate! Proving once again that nobody parties as hard as exhausted film industry folk, VMP set sail aboard the Dream On for our 2017 Christmas party! Foraying the pristine waters of Moreton Bay, the team indulged in beach cricket, swimming with wild dolphins, unprofessional amounts of wine and a gruesome brawl over the last prawn. We ended the day with dinner at Wynnum’s Waterloo Bay Hotel and a non-violent round of Secret Santa (special mention to the team member who contributed the unicorn hand puppet), rounding off what has been an absolutely spectacular year. A massive thanks to Aria Cruises and everyone who came along and made the day great – looking forward to an even greater 2018 with the VMP team!
